While we have our qualms about the sexism inherent in the song’s lyrics, we tend to really enjoy Beyonce’s video for “Single Ladies.” It’s good to know we’re not alone in our penchant for dancing spastically in an empty room wearing high heels and a turtleneck bodysuit we bought at The Limited in 1995.

We did feel, however, that the video was missing something. Frankly — and no offense to Beyonce or her back-up Beyonces — the video was missing sex appeal. Thankfully, a trio of friends decided to remake the video, properly, by injecting it with the hotness in which it was previously lacking. Just ask “Ecstasy:”

They’re just as sexy, in fact, as a certain single man:

You get down, you fabulous skinny, fat, white, black, dancing, wonderful people with ingenious costumes.

Um…are we supposed to find all the dancers in all the videos equally desirable?

    My tummy hurts.

My sister sent me the second video. It was different b/c it was a side by side comparison w/ the real video. He does the routine perfectly.

This led to me obsessively watching the video to recreate it and it was not pretty. At all. I think my cat thought I was having some sort of seizure.

i don’t understand how looking like you’re having a fit is considered dancing nowadays. fred and ginger are tapping furiously in their graves.

i LOVE this song and love the (presumably) gay guy’s energy. his routine just makes me feel happy to be alive. As for the ladies above him. Impressive flexibility! just goes to show you, you never know who’s fit and who isn’t.
