Video: Jose Bono Thinks Congess Is A Bunch Of Hijos De Putas

The video below shows José Bono Martínez, Spain’s President of the Congress of Deputies, referring to his colleagues in congress as “sons of whores.” We were under the impression that this is what Spanish bartenders use to let you know, upon inquiry, where the bathrooms are located.

Bono was filmed without his knowledge, although the men he was addressing seemed to laugh nervously in a way that implied, “Jesus, I hope we’re not being filmed right now.” His comments come as congress decides not to showcase a plaque that was to be dedicated to Sister María Maravillas Pidal y Chico de Guzmán, a nun persecuted during the Spanish Civil War.
