See, she explains that the long lines at polling places -- some of which resulted in eight hour waits in parts of Florida and Georgia -- charge voters with large chunks of time away from work - something which not all of us can comfortably or realistically afford to do. Joe the Plumber, to be certain, would be unable to conceivably carve a sufficient length of time from his long day of talking, plumbering and Not Being Named Joe in order to cast his vote.
