The queer folk over at Gawker believe the image below the jump (NSFW because women’s bodies are shameful, as is Perez’s face), which shows gossip blogger Perez Hilton dressed as Louis XIV, has something to do with gay rights.
We’re not sure what Louis XIV has to do with homosexuality (although, apparently, his brother the Duke of Orléans was gay) unless Perez is trying to equate male homosexuality with a sort of lurid foppishness or decadent dandyism. And, while we’re on the subject, we’re not sure what Perez Hilton has to do with being gay. Oh sure, he’s gay, but we’re just not sold on the idea that attempting to out celebrities while drawing penises on their faces is doing anything for any community other than… Perez Hilton.
Oh. Anyway. Perez as a flaming King, after the jump:

Prints of the photo will go on sale at Miami’s Art Photo Expo”with the proceeds going to benefit Marriage Equality USA.

That’s not a bad picture. Would I buy it? No. Would I ironically use it as my wallpaper? Maybe.

EWWWWWWWWWWW.
I generally count myself among the fag hags, and a fellow in drag is a pleasant thing more often than not. This, though, is just wrong. YUCK.

Does Louis XIV count as drag?

I’m failing to see how this photo or the poor excuse for entertainment known as Perez are advocating gay rights.
