Univision Rejects Catholic Condom Radio Ads; May We Suggest The Whiskey Flavored Ones?
9 December 2008, 7:00 PM. By Camilla Rowan
Two groups, The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health and Catholics for Choice collaborated on several Spanish-language radio ads promoting safe sex, but Univision refused to let them be aired on their New York radio stations. This confuses us! What is so scandalous about talking about condoms? Besides the obvious “not wanting to piss off conservative Catholics” reason, Univision’s decision might have been in reaction to the mention of gay sex in the ad. Just a guess. The first ad starts out promisingly;
“My Grandson told me he was in love… with a man.”
The full radio ad:
Well, we have something that just might solve Univisions bunched panty problem. And that something is whiskey flavored condoms. Because if you can’t lead a hesitant Catholic to the condom, you can at least probably make him drink whiskey out of it (and then you’re home free.)
Yes, they exist, and you can buy them here if you must.

What?!? Whiskey flavored condoms and no “Irish Curse” jokes? Slackers!
As if whiskey dick wasn’t already enough of a reocurring problem of mine. Thanks Guanabee!
