When the glitter and streamers have been cleared away, the champagne-knock off hangover has worn away and the rash has turned out to be merely an allergic reaction, will you be able to live up to (or even remember) the resolutions you’ll be making tonight?

USA.gov has compiled a list of some of the most popular resolutions people make each and every New Year’s Eve. We’re guessing these are probably pretty familiar to most of you:

* Lose Weight
* Manage Debt
* Save Money
* Get a Better Job
* Get Fit
* Eat Right
* Get a Better Education
* Drink Less Alcohol
* Quit Smoking Now
* Reduce Stress Overall
* Reduce Stress at Work
* Take a Trip
* Volunteer to Help Others

We’ve actually resolved to take up smoking this year, just to be contrary and spend even more money completely needlessly. We’re interested in learning, though, what sort of resolutions you all have made this year. Is there a vice you’re seeking to stop? A new hobby or skill you’d like to cultivate? A relationship you want to deepen, or destroy? Do you want to perfect your Spanish so you can talk to your abuelita without sounding straight up like a fool? Let us know in the comments!

One thing we’d like to resolve to do, right away, is wish Ana a very happy birthday. Yup, Ana is a January 1st baby and, since we’re off tomorrow, we’d like to take the time right now to wish our best friend a happy New Year and a very happy 24th birthday. Love you, Ana! Even when sober:
