Anti-Fur Activists Get Naked And Bloody In Barcelona

Anti-fur group Anima Naturalis staged their annual “pile of naked people” demonstration this past Sunday in Barcelona.
This year, however, they decided to add a little fake blood to the mix, so as to look more like skinned animals. Because regular mass public nudity just isn’t cutting it, these days.
The crowd of nearly 100 activists walked to the Plaza del Rey in Barcelona before disrobing and painting their bodies with artificial blood. One woman held a sign with the slogan “How many lives just for a coat?”

Anima Naturalis also lists facts about the literal number of animal skins needed for a coat and, forget the nudity and blood, here’s the part that got us on board: It takes between 120 and 300 chinchillas to make a coat.

As if you didn’t already have enough reasons to dislike 50 Cent.
