tweak For those of you who’ve ever gotten heart palpitations after a single Redbull and wondered “could I die from this!?” the answer is yes, and now you can find out exactly how much caffeine it would take to do you in.

Energyfiend is a neurotic little website dedicated to the caffeinated lifestyle, reporting on everything from caffeine-related health to style to celebrity consumption habits. Kind of clinging to a limited niche there, but they have at least produced something useful for those of us with crippling caffeine habits: A weight-based calculator that lists the most popular energy drinks, and tells you how much of each drink it’d take to kill you. Handy! And morbid!

Coffee is a staple beverage for every western country (except for those weird maté drinkers) but is it healthy to be taking coffee with every meal? The available research is contradictory, with one study claiming caffeine stimulates your memory and others saying it causes temporary heart disease and gives you man boobs and a whole host of other ills. Until scientists figure it out, we’ll just keep on with our Bawls (153.5 cans to kill us) and Cappuccinos (68 cups to kill us).

Also useful: the site informs us that it’s actually totally normal to start hallucinating after your third or fourth caffeinated beverage. So if you start seeing underpants gnomes, well, you’re in good company.
