French Women Don’t Get Tired: French Justice Minister Rachida Dati Back To Work 5 Days After Giving Birth
7 January 2009, 4:00 PM. By Alex Alvarez
French Justice Minister Rachida Dati returned to work a mere five days after popping out a womb hobbit, looking like someone whose body had not been ravaged for nine months by a parasitic little sack of goo. Rumors are swirling over the identity of her new baby’s father, with some saying it could be President Nicolas Sarkozy or his brother François. Sacre bleu and shit! François apparently spent Christmas with Dati awaiting the birth of baby Zohra. Other possible sperm donors include a millionaire casino owner, the former Prime Minister of another European country (OMG MAYBE!) and Jerry Lewis. Just kidding.
Others say her choice in saying that she would be happy if the pregnancy was “consolidated” points to the possibility that she may have visited a sperm bank in Copenhagen during a trip last year.
Dati, who has chosen to remain mum about the father’s identity, is being described as the “new face” of France. The 43-year-old is the daughter of a Moroccan labourer and illiterate Algerian mother. She has been described as “defeating the odds.” Dati has refused to discuss the baby with the press, saying only that she has no wish to be a role model for single mothers.
Uh. Too late?

Wow, she really does look fantastic. Like she just came back from vacation and not recently had her loins torn asunder by defecating new life into the world. Bravo.
Fierce.
But it seems to me she may be a little Wilhemina Slater type. But whateves, she’s still fierce in my book.
Not gonna lie: the woman looks hot (I’ve seen other photos of her and she has looked smokin’ in the past). I don’t mind older women, especially if they’re French and powerful. Rawr.
Oh, and props on the baby and the whole rags-to-riches success story.
