Hugo Chavez Thinks Obama Stinks, Too

In all the magical unicorniness of the past weekend, we forgot about the inane ramblings of that little red devil down below, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. At a political rally on Saturday, he called our president stinky again–but this time he wasn’t referring to the sulfurous George Bush. Oh, no. He said Barack Obama “brings the same stench,” as W.
Why? We don’t know. Does anything that comes out of Hugo Chavez’s mouth have to make sense? Of course not. And in fact, just to cover his ass, he also said that if Obama isn’t just like Bush, he’ll probably get killed. Poor Huey. It must be so frustrating when your entire political platform–that capitalism is evil and America is the devil–crumbles in front of all your constituents because Americans go and do an enlightened thing like electing a Barack Obama to the presidency. What can you tell your constituents now? Have some more gruel?
