President Barack Obama was sworn in today. We thought we’d let you know, in case you’d been hiding under a rock today. Or under Rick Warren.

If we learned anything from this ceremony, it’s that Joe Biden’s middle name is “Robinette.” Robinette!

Highlights from the ceremony included Aretha Franklin in a ridiculous hat, a woman reciting slam poetry about “walking into the light” and Rev. Joseph Lowery , a leader in the civil rights movement, urging us to get down with brown, mellow with yellow and “let the red man / get ahead, man.” Indeed we will.

All in all, the inaugural ceremony went by without a hitch, save for some slight stumbling on Obama’s part as he was being sworn in. On Abraham Lincoln’s Bible, while wearing Mary Todd’s merkin. Check it out:
