Jessica Alba tried to embarrass a journalist attempting to interview the star, but ended up embarrassing her own mediocre-acting ass.

Jessica attempted to put the journalist on the spot at an inaugural event by taping him for her “blog.” She asked him what he thought Barack Obama’s greatest characteristic going into office was, and the journo diplomatically responded that he was a member of the press and had to remain neutral. Jessica attempted to get her snark on by egging him on and advising him to “be like Sweden.”

So… clean, yet smelling of herring?

Jessica “Political Mastermind” Alba obviously meant “be like Switzerland,” but you know, she was too busy being a comemierda to bother with trivialities. Here’s your daily serving of awko taco:

Jessica also carved time out of her busy schedule to give a shout-out to conservative talking head Bill O’Reilly:

Yes, yes. Of course he’s an asshole. But at least he gets paid to be an asshole, Jessica, and he’s kind of amazing at it. Maybe you can take a few pointers from Bill on how to be a marketable asshole instead of one who keeps being cast as “mostly silent girlfriend” or “girl, screaming?”

  1. Hey Alex, come on don’t come so hard on the poor girl. “Be Sweden about it!”

  2. Maybe Jess wants some Swedish meatballs in her mouth…and really, who doesn’t?

  3. I don’t plan on coming anywhere near Jessica Alba.

There are two major European countries that have remained neutral through both World Wars and maintain longstanding policies of military non-alignment. Switzerland is the more commonly known one, but Sweden is the other. Neither has pursued membership in NATO. So, Miss Alba’s use of Sweden as an example of neutrality is not at all incorrect.

Actually, Sweden has been neutral longer than Switzerland has. Jessica Alba made a factually accurate statement.

Do some research before saying she’s confused. It’s called reporting, learn to do it.

Sweden has not fought a war since ending its involvement in the Napoleonic Wars in 1814 with a short war with Norway, making it the oldest neutral country in the world!!!! Switzerland - self-imposed, permanent, and armed, designed to ensure external security. Switzerland is the second oldest neutral country in the world; it has not fought a foreign war since its neutrality was established by the Congress of Vienna in 1815. oh and no celebrities are no political experts but they don’t claim to be, they just have political opinions like me and you. except their opinions are on full display, leading to heavy criticism and dissection.

    I’m living in a neutral country ?

Well as a Swede (a person from Sweden) I should know. Guess I didn’t know that tho.

Could it be… because Sweden is NOT neutral ? Yes that might explain it..

Bill is a A-hole but he is very much correct.

I suppose this last comment (about Sweden´s not neutral) was made by someone whos been educated in the modern swedish schoolsystem. The one that teaches aboslutely nothing about history or how the society and policies work. It is somewhat embarrasing to read like that being put forward by someone obviously just out to tarnish Swedens reputation. Sweden is nonalligned in peacetime, striving towards neutrality in happenstance of war. The key is that a country can declare itself neutral but that neutrality has to be respected by all sides partaking in a conflict for that neutrality to be upheld. Wether that respect comes from the country in questions own ability to command respect ie through force or by the fact that it isn´t actively comitted by either of the combattants. Sweden has not been involved in a war since 1814 but it has been involved in peacekeeping operations in various capacities.
