Latino Inaugural Gala Had Lovely Fashions, Intelligent Musings By Paulina Rubio

Sunday’s Latino Inaugural Gala, superfluously named “Celebrando El Cambio - Renewing America’s Promise,” had its share of Latino stars traipsing the red carpet, asking for change.
Among the big names at the gala were Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz, Tony Plana, Wilmer Valderrama, George Lopez, Rosie Perez, Angelica Vale, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Lopez’s huge, throbbing ego.
A lot of the clothing choices for the evening were interesting… meaning they were kind of heinous.
Among our least favorite looks were Jennifer Lopez’s fussy blue toga and cara de mierda, and Shakira’s bright green gown. It wasn’t a particularly bad gown, per se, it just seemed more fitting for a bridesmaid and the color and cut did nothing for Shakira’s complexion or figure. Oddly enough, we were not appalled by Paulina’s cream-colored evening dress. The subdued color and simple silhouette set off “La Chica Dorada’s” signature honey-colored hair and skin tone.
