Nom Nom: Natilla

We had pretty much the best natilla evaaaar last weekend in Corona, Queens’ own Rincon Criollo. And we got to wondering how hard it might be to replicate at home. We have a sneaking suspicion that our at-home version would more closely resemble the current incarnation of Mickey Rourke’s face than a smooth, thick, creamy dessert you kind of, honestly, want to bathe in.
A healthy dose of deliciousness, after the jump:
Ingredients:
* 3 cups milk
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 4 teaspoons cornstarch
* 1/4 cup water
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 4 egg yolks
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Heat 1 cup milk with cinnamon until boiling.
2. Remove from heat and dissolve cornstarch in water.
3. Dissolve cornstarch in water, mix the remaining cold milk and cornstarch solution.
4. Mix egg and yolk together in cold milk and add the hot milk mixture.
5. Heat over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from heat when thick, add vanilla extract and mix well.
7. Allow to cool and serve chilled.

@LaLa: Exactly, what this recipe needs is a fresh squirt of semen on top. Has to be fresh and warm so it contrasts nicely with the chilled custard.
@LaLaFredo: You guys are gross. You should only squirt semen on top of brie. At least they both smell the same.
I looooooooove natilla!
