Rick Sanchez Twitters Live From Pre-Op

Rick Sanchez of CNN, who likes to maintain a Twitterous relationship with his viewers, suddenly informed the world this afternoon that he was undergoing knee surgery by Twittering from the pre-op room.  Amongst other things, Rick said his anesthesiologist is “young, beautiful and about to put me under.” Okay? Oh, and his wife was there. Let that be a lesson to you, kids. Don’t huff gas and Twitter. More fun Rick quotes include mentioning the big slit in the back of his hospital gown. Yow. That image is seared into our brains forever. And the kick ass book deal he’s just had greenlit by a “CNN suit.” Hopefully he’ll be writing it under the influence, too. Update: Just moments ago, Rick broke in to tell us he’s out of surgery and feeling good. Till his wife catches up with him.
