Size Zero Women Have More Sex, Says Someone

A new study out of Britain conducted by some man in his basement shows that slimmer women seem to have more sex that their heavier counterparts. Of the study’s participants, 60% of women who were a U.S. size zero reported to have had sex within the last week, whereas only 50% of the U.S. size twelve women reported having sex with the same frequency.
Which is ironic given the last lusty stare we shot anyone’s way was directed at a jar of peanut butter. The little minx…
But what does this all mean?! Someone tell us what we have to buy to make everything all better!
Well, those involved with the survey believe slimmer women feel more confident with their bodies and are thus willing to have sex more often. Which seems a bit like fuzzy reasoning to us, seeing as we don’t personally know any size zero women who are particularly confident about their bodies, nor does confidence in one’s appearance equate to more sex. Desperate, depressive, low self-esteem is an epidemic in bedrooms across our house.
What do you think, though? If you’re somewhere above a size zero, would being slimmer make you more likely to want to have sex more often? Or more likely to greedily chug your entire bottle of passion fruit flavored lube in front of your horrified sex partner?
And, if you’re already a size zero, answer us this: Are you confident with your body? More confident than you might be at a lower or higher weight?
And, finally: Do you think this study would have garnered the same results with heterosexual men? Because we’re kind of inclined to think they’d say “Fat girls give better head ’cause they’re hungrier!” before headbutting a stranger and admitting that, actually, they’re virgins.
Update: Quintana is right! In our alcohol-fueled mid-afternoon blogging haze, we completely forgot about this story, about heavier women having more sex. One study took place in England and the other in the U.S, but we think the conclusion is the same:

Didn’t you guys run a headline a few weeks ago saying that chunky monkeys had more sex? Seriously, you get the results that you’re looking for. I’d love to see the data. Who were these women? How were they questioned? What were the controls?
And nobody EVER lies about having sex, do they? Of course not. (Rubbing one out in the shower counts, doesn’t it?)
Size smaller than 5 here: Confident check, sex often uncheck. Does that have to do with confidence, partially. It also has to do with meeting someone and then willing to sleep with them. Most men are willing to sleep with a woman no matter what size as long as she puts out and doesn’t nag him all the time.
But being a confident and self-admiring person in and out of bed does make a difference. Suggestion: Have ONE glass of wine and some dark chocolate to increase your mood and decrease some inhibitions before a night out. Also, don’t sleep with someone to fulfil some basement jerk’s stats.
I’m not sure of the exact details of the study but it was done by a weight loss specialist so it’s not surprising that they came up with those results! Here is the original article.
