US Airways Plane Crash In Hudson River

usairways_hudsonriver_planecrash_011509US Airways Flight 1549, an Airbus A320, crashed in the Hudson River on the west side of Manhattan 30 mins ago on its way from LaGuardia Airport in Queens to Charlotte, North Carolina. Rescuers fear hypothermia for any survivors.
Update: In what New York governor David Paterson called a “miracle on the Hudson,” all 150 passengers and five crew members of US Airways Flight 1549 survived the aircraft’s emergency water landing earlier today.
Pilot Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger, III has been christened a hero along with his entire crew after landing the plane safely due to a collision with a flock of geese that caused an engine to fail.
