Alex Rodriguez has been spending time with ex-wife Cynthia in their former home of Coral Gables, Florida in the wake of his admission to steroid abuse. Cynthia was actually present, off camera, during A-Rod's now-famous interview with ESPN.
The two have apparently been spending a lot of time together recently, while Alex is going through all the backlash after getting his confession on.
ESPN producer Willie Weinbaum says A-Rod and Cynthia are a couple of giant, chiseled cry babies: "It looked to me as though he had been crying, and it looked to me as if Cynthia had been crying. There is no doubt before the red light on the camera ever turned on, this was a very emotional period."
Yes, there's really nothing like wealthy and powerful people admitting to voluntarily drug use to stir up emotions and bring people together. Another "tragedy" that may have resulted these two to weep all over one another again is their daughter's staph infection. Says a source: "There's nothing like a sick child to make two parents forget their differences. I don't think you're going to see a reconciliation between Alex and Cynthia, but he sees her regularly with the children."
Since Alex's other ex, Madonna, is busy raising children of her own, it looks like Cynthia is going to the only woman putting up with him for a while.
