Did Chris Brown Attack Rihanna Because She Gave Him An STD? Like, Say, Herpes?

Reports are trickling out that Chris Brown may have attacked Rihanna on Sunday night because he discovered that she had given him herpes. Reports have also come out alleging that Brown gave Rihanna a broken jaw. He is now charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Damn, kids.
The Los Angeles Times has positively identified Rihanna as the previously unnamed woman Chris Brown attacked in a car. The crime reports from the incident name Robyn Fenty - Rihanna’s birth name - as the victim. Sources close to the singer, who had to cancel her Grammy performance due to her injuries, say that she did press charges against Brown.
Newer reports also clarify that a bystander, and not Rihanna herself as previously reported, called police after seeing the couple arguing outside of the car. Police arrived to find Brown had taken off and that Rihanna had suffered visible injuries to her face.

In big cities, the whole “Genovese syndrome” is always brought up, but with portable cameras being so prevalent (youtube phone recordings) I am surprise youtube did not break the news. John Quiñones did a similar experiment on his “What Would You Do?” show. Of course, they were not celebrities but it did touch on racial issues and gender issues.

Wanna know what else is messed up? I caught the end of this story on the radio this morning but they only used the name Brown. I didn’t know it was Rihanna and Chris Brown. I thought it was an unnamed woman and Bobby Brown.

According to the gossip at the Daily News, Chris went all Ike Turner because Rihanna accused him of flirting. If we’re going to go with baseless speculation, this one seems more likely than the herpes nonsense (As if a dude couldn’t get a damn condom).

It is sad that people’s personal life is justification for abuse. Whether Rhianna started it or not, it doesn’t matter what the situation is, no one should ever strike another human being.

Honestly, if she did give him an STD, she did deserve it. Too many women think that they can get away with things just because they are just that. If she did give that to him, I think that he should sue her for putting his life at risk, woman aren’t as latent as men when it comes to STD’s, so more than likely, if she did give him one, then she would have had signs and symptoms as well.
