According to a radio program called “No te pases,” former Miss Sinaloa Laura Zuniga is in talks with various TV and film producers who want to work with her.

Which is odd given she couldn’t act her way through a checkpoint in Guadalajara. Zing!

But, hm. What sort of movie do you suppose she could be in…

Given the unusual circumstances in which Laura found herself - Drugs! Prison! Baton twirling! - she’s used to dealing with tense situations and working towards a goal, be it defeating a villain or spending her boyfriend’s drug money on belly chains. 

A, Like, Teen Comedy Or Whatever

We think Laura could be an appealing star for teenagers. She’s young, she’s pretty and she already has a zany catch phrase indicative of the general obliviousness and disaffected ennui among today’s youth: “What drugs? We’re going shopping!” Watch for the inevitable TV spinoff: “That’s So Laura.”

A Very Special Lifetime Television Movie: The Movie

Let’s be honest. Laura has - allegedly - only gotten this far thanks to manipulations on the part of her powerful, rich boyfriend. We’re going out on this really cushy, comfortable limb and say she likely is not that talented as an actress. But she’s really, really cute and photogenic. So why not a Lifetime TV movie? There’s no shame in it, Laura. Unlike, you know. Getting caught with drug smugglers.
