Rihanna Is Hiding In Plain Sight Over In Mexico

A still-healing Rihanna has taken off to Mexico for some much-needed R&R in the wake of the ongoing investigation into charges that she was beaten by boyfriend Chris Brown. Understandably, she looks like she bit into a taco and found half a hamster.

While headlines ask, screamingly, “RIHANNA, OUT OF HIDING?” we don’t think being on a beach in a foreign country really counts as willingly stepping back into the American media’s spotlight.

Part of the reason Rihanna’s hasn’t been photographed since the attack is that her camp have made sure to ask those closest to the young singer to kindly keep her whereabouts and plans secret. Her record label has even been asked not to talk about Rihanna to the media - or to curious friends and family members.

Because you know those busy-bodies are well-intentioned, but don’t think twice about saying things like “She’s doing well and healing in MEXICO. She’ll be wearing a white bikini and Little Richard’s hair at 2 p.m. Bring sunscreen.”
