Rihanna Still Loves Chris Brown After Beating

Despite being knocked unconscious by her boyfriend, Rihanna’s friends say she’s still very much in love with Chris Brown. Which is really so, so awesome as long as she stays far, far away from him.
The singer has also, apparently, kept in touch with Brown, despite recent reports saying that her people were unhappy with his half-assed public apology. Says her friend: “She keeps saying she wants to make sure that he’s okay. She thinks this will all just blow over and they can go back to how they were.”
How they were? So, like. They can go back to a relationship marked by escalating instances of abuse?
Adding to the ick are recent allegations that Chris Brown exchanged flirtatious text messages with other women to the point that he was “ready to cheat” on Rihanna as recently as this past December. The “other woman” shares her story in the upcoming issue of Star and we can’t wait to not read it.

I never understood women who stood by their so-called “men” after being hurt like this. Either you’re a complete masochist or you really have no sense of self worth. I hate to say it but if she takes him back, she deserves another beating. I mean, seriously, have some self respect!
Or you have no way out of escaping the grip of a crazed, stalker who will stop at nothing to kill you since restraining orders don’t work, the shelters are all full, he never stops terrorizing you making it hard for you to stay gainfully employed, you’re scared he’ll kill your family, and the cops don’t give a fuck about you when you try to press charges. Oh, yeah, and over 75% of women victims are killed by the batterer when they try to leave.
Seriously. The system is messed up. The victims are just trying to survive. Damn.
Oh, and I don’t buy this story about Rihanna taking him back. Her dad just said the other day that she’s going to stand up for women and be a “heroine.” So bullshit on this story.
She is young, naive, and ignorant. It really is a shame, cycle of violence will end with her death.

Oh come on, she deserves a beating if she takes him back? You should hate to say that, because it’s ignorant and wrong. She does need to get some self-respect if she goes back to him, but thinking nena deserves another beating is kind of low, guest #1.
You know I understand Rihanna is still in love with Chris and really its her life wether or not she wants to forgive and forget. Why do I say this Because my boyfriend used to be physical w/me, and could for some odd reason still loved him w/all my heart. Long story short we separated for a while got back together and have now been married for 2 years and he has not put a hand on me. People realize the mistakes they made and change. Rihanna if you want to give Chris another chance I say go for it just be real careful. Remeber its your life not your fans’ life. Stay strong
