Salvadorean Ingmar Guandique Possible Murderer of Chandra Levy

ingmarguandique22109The mother of slain, federal intern Chandra Levy, told the Washington Post today that police have made a breakthrough in the eight year-old case and an arrest is “imminent in the next couple of days.” Anonymous sources told the paper that 27-year-old Salvadorean immigrant Ingmar Guandique, (pictured), is under intense investigation and about to be arrested.

Guandique is already serving ten years in a federal penitentiary in the state of California for attacking two other women at knifepoint in Washington, D.C.’s Rock Creek Park around  the same time and place that Levy disappeared. In an interview the Washington Post conducted with him from prison last year for a special report about the Levy case, he claimed innocence, denying having ever seen her, though, at the time of his arrest, he told a park policeman he had seen her in the park, recognizing her from a picture.

Since the end of last summer, when the Post ran a special 13-part series on the Levy case that Levy’s mother credits with helping bring new information to light, investigators have been building a case against Guandique. One of Grandique’s other victims, Halle Shilling, testified before a grand jury and some of his possessions have been submitted for DNA testing.

Critics blame the media’s appetite for sensationalism for delaying the investigation of Guandique this long. Since Levy was having an affair with married, California Congressman Gary Condit at the time of her murder, all attention was focused on proving he was the killer, but he was never charged. Condit told the Post he is glad for Levy’s family and for his own. He plans to tell “his side of story” at some later date.

I worked on the Hill during that time and I think that Gary Condit acted abominably during the whole investigation. No one really thought that he killed her, but he was concerned oly for his career, and not for the life of a woman he was sleeping with. Shameful.

Ingmar Guandique is not an immigrant; he is an illegal alien. Get it straight or don’t report it, numbnuts! He came here to kill American women and succeeded (allegedly, sorrrreee!) with one and went to jail for trying to get two others. In Salvadore, he would be killed immediately. That’s why he came here.

So all you cowardly, leftist, commie pinko loving radicals( sorry, Sean Penn) better take your heads out of your tight assed butts and stop playing the sympathy card for these freaks no one wants and tell it like it is.. not like the jacked up moron before my post who still wants to pillory Condit as being as bad as the killer. WTF is going on in this world …REALLY>

Yeah, because “immigrant” and “illegal alien” are mutually exclusive.
