Slumdog Kid Azharuddin Ismail Slapped By His Dad

Now that Slumdog Millionaire is the greatest movie ever made, cameras continue to record its co-star, Azharuddin Ismail’s, every move–including ones that get him slapped and kicked by his dad.

It seems little Azharuddin was very tired from his long flight from Los Angeles to Mumbai on Thursday and was given the day off from school to rest, but his dad Muhammed wanted him to stand outside the family tent and get photographed or whatever. Witnesses say Ismael was counting on Azharuddin’s fame to be his mealticket out of the slums–hey who could blame him? We’ve seen that dunghole.–but when Azharuddin said he was too tired, his dad kicked and slapped him while Azharuddin’s mother pleaded with her husband to stop.

Eventually, he did apologize saying, “I was very sorry I did what I did. I was confused and stressed by my son’s homecoming and I did not know myself for a minute. I love my boy and I am very happy to have him home.” Looks like child actors are fucked even if they live miles away from Hollywood.
