Breaking! English actor Stephen Fry (Peter's Friends, Wilde) just finished Twittering from a stalled elevator, (or "lift" as they say across the pond), where he was stuck for a couple of hours on the 26th floor of Centre Point, one of London's oldest and most beloved high-rise buildings. He even managed to send a couple of photos of the ordeal like the one above. Celebrities! They're just like us! Except when they're stuck in a lift, they have 32,000 fans to talk them through it. Engineers got Stephen and his friends (pictured) out about 45 minutes ago. Also, we're totally using the phrase "Hell's teeth," whenever possible from now on.

I wouldn't say that Centre Point was either one of London's oldest or most beloved buildings! Let's just say it's a useful landmark and just leave it at that. :-)
