picture-211It’s pretty jarring when you’re buying a post-bender plate of jalapeño cheese fries only to have the guy at the counter make a comment about “beaners.” But you’d think celebrities who are constantly under public scrutiny and whose jobs depending on people liking them would use a little more discretion. They don’t.

Miley’s only the most recent star who’s been caught being less than racially sensitive. Here’s our list of the 10 Most Offensive Celebrity Moments. Enjoy?:

10. Mike Myers: The Love Guru

Mike Myers is on this list because The Love Guru has absolutely no redeeming value as a comedic film. It garnered terrible reviews while offending members of a country, an ethnic group and a religion. Plus, it dragged down Jessica Alba’s good name.

9. Brigitte Bardot: Wrote that Muslims are destroying France

Iconic French actress Brigitte Bardot has long been a advocate for animal rights, but her mission took a controversial turn when she published a piece in her foundation’s quarterly  that claimed  France  was “tired of being led by the nose by this population that is destroying us, destroying our country by imposing its acts,” referring to the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha, which is celebrated by some with the slaughter of a domestic animal, such as a sheep.

 8. Lil’ Kim: Claimed actress Naturi Naughton was too dark to play her in Notorious.

Lil’ Kim (bottom photo), who has somehow changed from a really cute young woman to a strange, melty putty-person over the years, was reportedly upset that really cute young woman Naturi Naughton (top photo) was asked to play her in Notorious, a film about the life of rapper Biggie Smalls, because she felt the actress was “too dark.” Biggie’s responded, saying, “”She felt the character we chose for her was too dark. Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”

7. Rosie O’Donnell: “The fact is that it’s news all over the world. That you know, you can imagine in China it’s like: ‘Ching chong … ching chong. Danny DeVito, ching chong, chong, chong, chong. Drunk. ‘The View.’”

Asian rights groups were angered by Rosie’s use of “ching chong” to describe Chinese people’s reactions to Danny DeVitro’s limoncello-soaked appearance on “The View.” When reached for comment, Miley Cyrus said, “LOL.”

6. Don Imus: Referred to members of Rutger’s women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.”

CBS fired Imus from his radio show for his comments after nervous sponsors began pulling funding. Proving that perhaps the only way to combat racism in the short-term is by hitting people in their wallets.

5. Paris Hilton: Sang that she was a “Jappy Jew” and a “little black whore” at New Year’s Eve party.

Paris Hilton is an idiot, again. Paris is seemingly unaware that anything she records on tape or camera will, not unlike her Tsubis, eventually leak. Or she’s under the impression that her fame and money will shield from having to face any sort of repercussion for her actions. And, except for a brief stint in jail, she’s mostly correct.

4. Michael Richards: “50 years ago we’d have you upside-down with a fucking fork up your ass.”

Michael “Kramer” Richards went off on a racial tirade after a black audience member heckled him during his standup routine. Richards publicly apologized for his rant and blamed it on anger, not racism.

3. Mel Gibson: “Jews responsible for all the wars in the world.”

Mel Gibson took a little trip off the beaten path through the mystic land known as “Sanity” and went off on a now infamous rant while being arrested for driving under the influence two years ago. In addition to referring to a female officer as “sugartits” and claiming to own Malibu, he blamed Jewish people for the world’s wars. Then he grew some ill-advised facial hair.

2. Prince Harry: Nazi costume

Prince Harry wore a Nazi costume, complete with Swastika armbands, to a party. We hope they ginger snaps. Harry publicly apologized for having offended people with his costume choice.

1. Carlos Mencia: Existing.

We get it. We’re beaners and wetbacks and unemployed. Retarded people talk funny and grown men can make money for telling the same jokes we stopped finding funny around the same time we stopped referring to cars as “vroom vrooms.”

  1. Michael Richards moment and Mel Gibson should totally be ahead of Prince Harry. I mean dressing up as a Nazi is super offensive, but the other two were just straight up spewing the hate.

BTW As if it really needed to be said, Paris Hilton is just a blight on human being’s existence.
And as terrible as Mencia is, the thing he did with Mario Lopez- Wetback Mountain (”They think we’re gay”) - was his one shining moment.

    • It’s hard to rate something like level of offense, but I put Harry ahead because he’s a royal and represents a nation. And not at all because I find red hair creepy. Because that would be offensive.

I think dressing like a Nazi is as bad. Let us not forget what Nazi Germany stood for and the atrocities they committed against 6 million jews. For anyone to dress like a Nazi is horrifying. For a young man of his power and privilege to do it is unspeakable.
