Val Kilmer To Never Take Bill Richardson’s Place In Our Hearts, But Possibly Take New Mexico Governorship

Val Kilmer is thinking of running for governor of New Mexico to replace be-soul patched Bill Richardson after his second term. Let’s face it, no one could remove Bill Richardson from our hearts. He’s caught in all the grasa. But New Mexicans may be another story!
Kilmer grew up in Los Angeles, but has called New Mexico home for about twenty years. Even before he roamed the desert with a naked Indian in The Doors. He told an AP reporter recently that he is looking for ways to be “contributive” which, it turns out, is a real word. He’s a registered Democrat in New Mexico and voted for Barack Obama from Bulgaria where he was shooting. (Not heroin, but a movie.) And if he throws his hat in the ring it will really disrupt the nice Democratic machine they’ve got going down there. Which would be funny to watch. Do you think Latinos will vote for the pot growing, hippie sherpa from Entourage?
Wednesday, he donned his best Sergeant Pepper’s suit to face the local media at New Mexico’s Roundhouse. Which kind of fueled our own speculation that he is on a peyote trip. Video is below.
