Benicio Del Toro To Play Moe In The Farrelly Brothers’ Three Stooges

We’re sure the casting won’t be the stupidest thing about The Farrelly Brothers new Three Stooges movie, but Benicio Del Toro as Moe, Sean Penn as Larry and Jim Carrey as Curly, (okay, that last one actually makes total sense), is a good start. But, didn’t Dumb and Dumber already cover this? Still, Benicio Del Toro could wear a dead gerbil on his head and we’d pay $10 to watch him do it.

Variety also says that Jim Carrey is planning to gain 40 pounds to play Jerome “Curly” Howard in the movie that’s been in the works for over a decade. Uh, try more like 80 pounds, Stretch. Yup, this looks like it’s going to be real stupid. Which, of course, is the highest compliment one could give to a Three Stooges movie. So, okay, we’re in.
