Little Person Beverley Burkitt Saved By Pebbles The Chihuahua

Beverley Burkitt, who is three feet and eight inches tall, got lost in the woods and says she would surely have died were it not for her tiny pet chihuahua, Pebbles.

Beverley, whom The Sun sweetly describes as a “lost mountain dwarf” was walking Pebbles when she dropped her cell phone, could not find it, and then realized she was completely lost and did not know how to get home.

So she she stayed put, spending the night in the forest with little Pebbles laying across her lap. Recalls Beverley:

Pebbles lay across my legs overnight and kept me warm. I was wearing a coat but it wasn’t as warm as Pebbles. I wasn’t too worried as I knew I’d be found sooner or later.

A search party found Beverley the next morning. Excellent timing, Pebbles, what with yesterday being National Puppy Day and all. Way to save the Lost Mountain Dwarf ®!
