caliah_clark_3_31_09 Robert Lemire and Alex Day are Guanabee’s Hispanics of the Month for saving 18 month-old Caliah Clark after she dropped forty feet out a window from her home. Bob and Alex are probably not Hispanic, but how can you argue semantics when you hear a story like this: Bob was on the phone outside a pizzeria in Lawrence, Massachusetts Sunday night when he spotted Caliah hanging out the window of her home across the street, her young siblings struggling to hold on to her hands from inside.

Bob ran across the street, almost getting hit by a car, and yelled for help. Alex Day, who was nearby going to a bible study, (see, he’s an angel), heard Bob’s cries and ran over to help. The two men caught the child after her siblings could no longer hold her, returning her safely to her dad Randall who had been inside bathing a newborn. As for Bob and Alex, they both say in the video below, that they couldn’t have done it without each other and that’s why two white guys from Massachusetts are Guanabee’s Hispanics of the Month. Sorry, it’s March 31st, but enjoy your day, guys.
