“David After The Dentist” YouTube Star Interviewed By Matt Lauer, Post Deer Attack

David DeVore is an internet sensation, thanks to a video - called “David After Dentist” - that his father shot of him after his dental surgery. His father then posted the video to Facebook and YouTube and now, millions upon millions of views, later the whole DeVore family went on the Today show to chat with a post-deer attack Matt Lauer.
David’s father was asked to appear on the show via Twitter, by the way. This story makes us increasingly grateful that our own parents scarcely know how to instant message, much less upload videos and set up multiple social networking accounts.

David’s video is awesome not only for the spirited discussion it has created among YouTube commenters - widely known to be the Mensa members of the internet - about whether filming a video of a drugged child constitutes as “f*cking child aboos,” but also for the parody videos it has gone on to inspire.

I thought it was funny. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it since the father simply recorded the affects of anesthesia on his child. Suppose something had gone wrong? They had a record of their childs behavior under the influence that could be studied. Other parents can refer to this video if they have any concerns as to whether the behavior of their child under the affects of anesthesia is normal. I just thought it was interestingly informative, but when the kid said, “Is this the real world?” I admit I had to crack up!
this shit is freakin hilarious! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. NOw had the dad recorded him crying in pain that’s a different story.
I’m in total agreement with Valerie on this. No one was harmed and nothing was done with ill intentions, there is no aboos happening. It was hilarious.
I wonder what the kid said about it after seeing it later! Good lesson to learn early how stupid one looks when “high”…
