Emilio Navaira Is Out On Bail, Due In Court Friday

Tejano star Emilio Navaira, who was finally charged Friday with a DWI misdemeanor a year after wrecking his tour bus, turned himself in to authorities Saturday and was out on $5000 bail within hours. It’s nice to be rich! Not only because he can post his own bail, but because the two years probation and $4000 fine he may face for the Class A Misdemeanor are small change for the Grammy winner. Then again, he could face up to a year in prison, but considering this is his third drunk driving offense, even that seems a little weak to us. Navaira is due to appear in court in Houston on Friday.
