Gloria Estefan Says The CIA Wanted Her To Be A Spy

Gloria Estefan, who recently announced her retirement from touring as a musician, could have had a whole other career in espionage. The 52 year-old singer says she was approached by the CIA when she worked as a Spanish, French and English translator in Miami’s airport. “They realized that I was the last person anyone would suspect. They offered me a job in the CIA and told me they wanted me to train outside Atlanta,” she said on Telemundo gossip show Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste.
Estefan ultimately decided not to take the government up on their offer, mainly because her mother said, Oh hail, no. She had already been through the incarceration of Gloria’s dad during the Bay of Pigs. So, instead, Gloria terrorized foreigners with “Conga.”

reminds of the time when samantha fox was asked by MI5 to smuggle some top secret plans from behind the iron curtain using her boobies
We don’t need to retire to ramble on about crazy shit. We do it voluntarily.
