Jimmy Fallon Hosts His Royal Highness, Morrissey

Last night Morrissey performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, giving the struggling show a much needed ratings boost. It was everything we dreamed it would be. Morrissey will retire nicely in Las Vegas one day, bringing back the glamour of Sinatra. But, you know, as a fagela.

One thing you realize when you have someone like Morrissey onstage is how underwhelming Jimmy Fallon is. No wonder Moz extended his left hand to him upon first meeting. Jimmy then proceeded to call His Highness “buddy,” and (not pictured) touch him two more times with overbearing handshakes. Also, Jimmy allowed couch hanger-on Jimmy Glaser to come over to the stage to touch him, too. We’re sure Morrissey will have them both killed.

On another note, Jimmy also had Alex’s girlfriend Kat Von D on last night, prompting Jimmy to show us a tattoo of Elvis high-fiving Abraham Lincoln. Which, if we were to believe Chuck D, would never happen because Elvis was allegedly a racist, but we agree with Jimmy. It is the coolest tattoo ever made.
