Is John Mayer Twittering About Jennifer Aniston? IN HIS PANTS?

John Mayer, when not talking about Jennifer Aniston to the press, is possibly Twittering about her. Or so some are speculating.

Mayer recently asked his Twitter followers to write a novel to write a story in six words. Mayer’s entry was:

This heart didn’t come with instructions.

We thought it was trite when we saw it written in Gothic font on a hoodie at Hot Topics, and we find it trite now. But those six words have got people wondering whether he might be referring to his ex. 

We think his little assignment is a pretty creative use of Twitter’s format, though. So props to John Mayer and Ernest Hemingway. (Whose six-word story was, heartbreakingly, “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”
