I’m dating a white boy who speaks better Spanish than I do, so my grandfather thinks he’s from Argentina. It’s close enough to being with an actual Latino.

Um, guilty. In my dating life it’s been mostly white dudes, but a smattering of other brown/yellow people. And I am blatina…weird, eh?

Could it be because my family was the only “chocolate chip” in the cookie of the upstate new york neighborhood when I was growing up?

Lately I find myself attracted to any brown men with a connection to history…latino, middle eastern, south asian…as long as there’s percussion in the culture, there might be compatibility… =)
