Kerby Revelus, 23, Shot After Decapitating Sister In Front Of Cop

Kerby Revelus, 23, was shot by police officers in his Milton, Massachusetts home after decapitating his five-year-old sister, Bianca, as her birthday cake sat on the table. Revelus had stabbed his two other sister, 17-year-old Samantha and 9-year-old Sarafina. Sarafina was rescued by officers, but suffered stab wounds to her hands, abdomen and leg. Samantha, also stabbed multiple times, was already dead when police arrived at the home.
While their parents were out, Revelus stabbed 17-year-old Samantha as their grandmother was doing laundry in the basement. Sarafina, frightened, called police at 5 p.m. An officer on patrol in the neighborhood arrived within a minute. When Sarafina did not respond to the 911 dispatchers instructions to open the door for the officer, he broke it down, walking in as Revelus took a knife to Bianca’s throat and proceeded to decapitate the child. Within minutes, four more officers showed up at the home. Two of the officers shot at Revelus as he lunged for Sarafina.
The 9-year-old is now recuperating at a local hospital with her parents. Attempts to recuperate Samantha - a popular high schooler known as “Princess” by her classmates - were unsuccessful.
There is no known motive for the killings, but neighbors describe Kerby as a disturbed young man who was often seen wandering his neighborhood, drinking from a paper bag and muttering to himself about God’s purpose for him. Some say he was depressed at being unable to find employment due to his criminal record. Says Revelus’ neighbor, Abdul Kamara: ”Sometimes he was friendly, and sometimes he would just lose it. Ever since he came out [of jail] the second time, he wasn’t the same.”
He was said to have gotten into a fist fight with a neighbor in the hours leading up to the murders, but officers do not whether the altercation was somehow related to the killings.

A 5-year was decapitated, a 17-year was killed and a 9-year was almost killed and two bozos leave these ridiculous comments.
May the children’s souls rest in peace. And my prayers go out to the family dealing with this horrendous tragedy and great loss.
Was deadly force really necessary? They didn’t have to kill the guy, his sisters were already dead and he did not pose a threat to the officer’s lives. If anything they could have used a taser or shot him in the arm or leg. He had a knife, they had guns. This was not handled properly.

Deadly force was absolutely necessary. The article states he was shot as he LUNGED for his other sister. He obviously didn’t have a problem killing the 5 year old in front of the police officers so it stands to reason that’s what his intention was as he tried to get the 9 year old. This is just a horrible incident all around. I pray for the parents, and the rest of their family to be able to recover as best they can from such a devastating loss.
First of all, the man murdered his own sisters!! He should be tourtured for what he did to the little 5 year old. I’m so tired of grown ups killing little kids, it must stop, doesn’t anyone care about others, or just themselves?
It saves the taxpayers money and the courts time when the suspect is either killed or takes his or her own life. Society does not need the burden of trials and justice needs to be done. It was. The children were innocent and prayers are with them as their tiny spirits rest among angels. Tragic and sad, yes. Unfortunately, there will always be bleeding hearts, but punishment should fit the crime.

I can’t beleive what this world is coming to…. to ask if deadly force was neccessary, and what did it matter they were already dead…. what are you related the SOB that did this to his own sisters… Your as sick as he was….my heart goes out to the famiy and suviving sister and Gramma…I believe, given the situation the police acted accordlingly…. What is happening with today’s youth. It is my opinion that they have no direction, no respect for other people, other people’s property or themselves. They act on impulse and not by thinking their actions all the way through. I am not saying ALL youth, I am saying many of today’s youth. When discipline left child rearing, youth were permitted to, “Express” themselves through their hair, clothing and language. I was raised in the 60’s and then, we children did as we were told to do and waited to, “Express” ourselves when we became adults and moved out of mom and dad’s house………. Ah, the 60’s. When the law enforcement officers outnumbered the criminals………
Not only was deadly force justified… in this case it is highly desirable. I only wish the rotten piece of shit could be brought back to life so he could be killed again.
I am speechless because of the lack of sympathy some people have. I cannot begin to imagine what type of person would do this to their family, or to anyone for that matter. If I were the police I would have shot him until I had no rounds left and spit on his dead body. He does no deserve another second of life, considering he so easily took his sister’s away. I feel so sad for the family and for the poor young ladies whose lives were taken. It’s just not fair…
When I saw the notice at night.. i was horrified… crying, because i cant understand why these actions happen in the world … where is God when this is happened…I feel real bad…this guy was insane or had the devil inside.

You shouldn’t blame this on GOD first of all…. God allows us to make our own desisions as an act of free will, was God horrifed to see what this man did to his own family?? you better believe it, it probably brought him unspeakable sadness, but he was with Bianca and Samantha the whole time. Hopefully it went quick for those poor girls and may GOD have mercy on Kerby’s soul. It isn’t any of our places to judge that horrible act that was committed that day, we all fall short of the glory of GOD and all sin in his eyes….Some sins are greater than others and this is one of those cases.
