Maria Conchita Alonso talked to TV Y Novelas recently to discuss the important matter of her beauty. Unlike many of today’s beauty queens from her native Venezuela, Maria Conchita was first runner up for Miss Venezuela 1975 back when plastic surgery was seen as cheating. She’ll be the first to tell you that she got beautiful the old-fashioned way–through good breeding.
Well, okay, there was that one time last year, she admits, when the fifty-one year-old finally broke down and got some plastic surgery. Only because everyone already thought she had it and NOT because she was attempting to make a comeback on VH1’s Viva Hollywood. Indeed.
But don’t feel sorry for her. Just because she’s without a show, her candidate lost the Presidential election and she hasn’t found love in a while, doesn’t mean she isn’t having a good time. She told the magazine that she’s kept a lover for a number of years.
“Not a boyfriend, but a lover, with all that it contains.” What the hell is THAT supposed to mean, Maria Conchita? “We meet to satisfy ourselves. Give each other pleasure.
