Spanish Tourists Make Fun Of Japanese Girl Passed Out On Metro
11 March 2009, 1:45 PM. By Alex Alvarez
A group of Spanish tourists in Tokyo (all of whom have amazing hair, by the way) decided to video a Japanese woman passing out on the metro and yell, “Arigato!” and bow as she fell forward in her seat. Then, they almost felt bad enough about it at the end of the video to not post it on the internet.
First the Spanish Olympic basketball team celebrated the Beijing Olympics by making “slanty eyes,” then Ines Gomez Mont thought it’d be hilarious to mock the way Chinese people pronounce “rr,” then the Argentine women’s soccer team decided to join in. At least these Spanish ladypeople eventually felt foolish. Maybe they realized that, should a lone Spaniard ever have the misfortune of falling asleep on a train in Spain (on the plain, in the rain), she’d feel bad if New York tourists began filming her while yelling, “Toro! Toro!” Watch, cringe, and make a vow never to act like an asshole:

Also, really. How great is the brunette with the scarf’s haircut? Covet. [Ed: And the one sitting next to the Japanese girl is totally Serena van der Woodsen.]

I laugh at homeless people all the time, but I never record and upload the video of their actions. shame shame shame
Is it bad that I think it’s funny? I’m that person who likes to people watch and makes fun. It’s in my genes… my mom does it at her church sometimes
the real original queen of that haircute (demi moore in ghost) would never do such a thing.
I’d smack them all on the mouth with my chancla.
I couldn’t watch for more than a minute, It’s one thing to be amsued by someone sleeping and swaying on the train, it’s another to have your whole group mock them, tape the whole incident and put 6 minutes of it up on Youtube.
And that girl’s hair was boss.
Word! I only got 1 minute into it too. Poor lil China. And how in the hell can anyone understand the Spainards?
Okay…so I confess….I chuckled a little…..but video taping, posing and uploading that video is a bit much…..what can I say……they’re not one of ours……lol….thank goodness!!
Wow, I laughed. Laughed at the idiot Spaniards.
