Natasha Richardson Has Died

Actress Natasha Richardson has died at the age of 45 after suffering brain damage due to a ski injury in Canada. Her publicist has released the following statement: “Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

She was taken from Canada to a New York hospital while on life support so that her family, which includes actress Vanessa Redgrave (her mother) and Joley Richardson (here sister), would have a chance to say good-bye. Natasha leaves behind two young boys, and will be missed greatly.
