Nuestra Belleza Latina: The Final 13 Stepford Wives Picked To Live In The Mansion

Last night on Nuestra Belleza Latina, Univision’s beauty pageant reality show, the contestants were whittled down to the final 13 who will live in The Mansion of Beauty in Miami and proceed to tear each other’s weaves out for the chance to wear the crown of NUESTRA. BELLEZA. LATINA.

Now, any beauty pageant worth its salt is objectifying and degrading to women, but NBL is the unsensored, on-steroids, Latino version. Below, check out a clip of Osmel Sousa, the show’s Simon Cowell in the body of Walter Mercado, ripping a new one into contestant favorite Heloísa Alves who he believes is only there for the gratuitous publicity. No! But not before he tells contestant Catarina Lopez that she speaks like an annoying gnat, while Catarina just keeps on smiling. Poise is the name of the game for NUESTRA. BELLEZA. LATINA, ladies.
