oreilly_3.30.09We have something in common with Bill O’Reilly. Actually, a few things. Other than our shared love of “falafels,” we, like, Bill, find Sean Penn incredibly irritating. Bill takes it one step further by refusing to pay to watch any film starring Sean Penn. Gasp! Does this mean he’s going to skip the cinematic masterpiece that is The Thee Stooges: The Movie?

Bill explains his decision while slathering a loofah in tahini sauce:

He’s a great actor, and if you hire him, you’ll get a good performance. I’m just not going to give a guy who gives aid and comfort to people like [Iran president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein, when he was alive, my 10 bucks. That’s my right as an American.

10 bucks?! Where are you going to the movies, O’Reilly? Anyway. He defended his choice, saying he’s in no way attempting to blacklist the actor or get others to boycott his work:

It’s a personal decision. I don’t tell people how to vote or how to spend their money. I don’t tell people how to do anything. In America, you decide for yourself. We don’t endorse anybody here or promote a political party, which is why we’ve been so successful.

Yes… quite. So who, you ask, is Bill O’Reilly’s favorite actor? Besides George Clooney.

Clint Eastwood! Surprise!

  1. “My right as an American” - Wow. Isn’t it more like a simple decision? Who brings those terms into a conversation about seeying a movie? What a dumbass.

This guy is a fucking tool. I can’t believe anyone believes he has any credibility after he hosted Inside Edition for so long.

The story Jenna Jameson tells about her visit to his show is awesome, the guy is a total jackoff.
