Surprise, Ash-Holes: Robert Pattinson’s First Sex Scene Was With Another Man As Salvador Dali In Little Ashes

Robert Pattinson - whom almost half of you would let stick the tip in - had his first sex scene with a male co-star when he played a young Salvador Dali in the film Little Ashes. In the scene, Dali gets all surreal and shit with poet Federico García Lorca, played by Javier Beltrán. Pattinson says he felt the whole thing was a little ridiculous, because there wasn’t even Astroglide or kitten masks involved.

Says Pattinson, heterosexually:

I was kind of crossing lines of what I thought I was comfortable doing. I had to do all this naked stuff.

And here I am, with Javier, who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward and because we’re both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous.

There’s all these gay sex scenes. And y’know, I haven’t even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career.

Trying to do it doggie-style. Trying to have a nervous breakdown while doing it doggie-style. And it wasn’t even a closed set. There were all these Spanish electricians giggling to themselves.

It’s not doggie-style if its in the butt, ashwipe. Wethinks the ghey doth protest too much. Like, isn’t pretending to have sex in a room full of strangers with any person you’ve known for a day kind of ridiculous? Don’t get your silly fake mustache all in a twist, Robert. It’s called acting. The sexual orientation of the actors involved shouldn’t matter if you’re both in character. Lots of character are straight for pay, gay for pay, ugly for pay. It’s not ridiculous, boo.
