It Takes Mammaries To Be A Woman On Spanish-Language TV

The premiere of Telefutura’s new gossip show La Tijera last week made us realize this giant boob thing Latin women are expected to perpuate in order to keep their television presenter jobs has gotten ridiculous. Which, of course, led us to think, photo gallery!
We all know that Latin culture is nothing if not machista. And to make it in that world, a woman better bring the lolas. (We just learned that word yesterday from the Argentineans and we’re enjoying it very much, thanks.) But the two hostesses pictured above look like straight up street walkers. (The one in pink is El Puma’s daughter Liliana Rodríguez Morillo.) How are we supposed to pay attention to the latest insanity coming out of Gloria Trevi’s mouth when all we can see is chichis for days?
Some male members of the Guanabee staff say the ladies like dressing this way because it makes them feel powerful. But we say they have no choice if they want a job in front of the camera. And if being raised to believe this is glamour is what you mean by them liking it, then okay, Hugh Hefner. What do you guys think?

If by powerful they mean employed as a Spanish television personality, then, yes, they probably feel totally powerful. Otherwise, the male members of the Guanabee staff have no idea what they’re talking about.
My dad to me right now: “mijo, ya viste esas viejas? Cual se te hace mas buena?”
How else can the Spanish News attract a non-speaking audience to watch when Spanish is not their primary language…Great legs also boost ratings…like those primer impacto ladies
