Vince Shlomi The ShamWow Guy Arrested For Punching A Hooker

Forty-four year-old Vince Shlomi, who peddles the famous ShamWow towl on TV with the exhuberence of a meth addict, was arrested last month on South Beach after he got into a violent altercation in his hotel room with Sasha Harris, 26, a prostitute. According to the police report, on February 7th of this year, Shlomi paid Harris $1000 after she propositioned him for “straight sex” at a nightclub. The two went back to his $750 hotel room at the Setai hotel and when he kissed her, she bit his tongue and refused to let go, so he punched her until she did. Once he got free, Shlomi ran, bleeding, to the hotel lobby where employees called the cops.
Both parties were arrested for felony aggravated battery, but no formal charges have been filed since, most likely, neither party wants to implicate themselves further by going on record. Harris does say she is considering pressing charges against Shlomi after she suffered several lacerations to her face.
