Colorado Woman’s Tofu License Plate Takes A Turn For The Stupid

 Kelly Coffman-Lee’s suggestion for a vegan-friendly license plate was nixed by Colorado’s Department of Motor Vehicles because they found it to be too sexual. Her suggestion, “ILVTOFU,” could be construed as endorsing vagitarianism.

Department of Revenue spokesperson Mark Couch explained that “We don’t allow ‘FU’ because some people could read that as street language for sex.” You’d be surprised at the number of middle-aged Colorado vegans who are from da streetz.
