Eminem’s “We Made You” Video Full Of Irrelevant Pop Icons

Eminem, right? He’s back and you thought he drowned in a river of Colt 45 and body fluids. But like Austin Powers in that movie where he has to catch up on the last 40 years, Eminem’s new video for, “We Made You,” namechecks every pop culture reference that’s come and gone since we last saw him. (Sarah Palin?) And a few from way before we ever heard of him. (Rainman?) Which kind of leaves him looking like a guy with really bad comic timing. Or maybe someone who just doesn’t know when to quit.

He also still hates women because his mommy was mean to him, but at least he has the good sense to make fun of Brett Michaels. And the song? Well the song is actually pretty good–if you ignore the misogyny. Oh and Dr. Dre, who produced most of the album, looks really hot as Captain Kirk. Who knew?
