Jimmy Fallon Kicked Out Of NYC Restaurant, Twitters The Fallout
6 April 2009, 1:00 PM. By Alex Alvarez
Jimmy Fallon was thrown out of a New York City restaurant Posto because of a negative review he’d given one of its sister restaurants in a New York mag interview. Jimmy was asked to leave, along with his wife, 2-year-old niece and 11-month-old child, by a waitress he referred to as “Carb Face Carol” on his Twitter account.
Jimmy Fallon initially asked his Twitter followers to boycott the Italian eatery - and all its sister restaurants - before eventually backtracking and saying he was “just venting.” The carb-faced waitress may have decided to kick him out after he made the following quip about Spunto’s pizza:
I think they use a blow dryer on the cheese. That would be the best Ritz cracker pizza. I assume they have a place named Crusto?
You know, typical Fallon hilarity. Read Fallon’s Twitter account of what went down:
i’m sorry. i am venting. don’t boycott. don’t hate. i just have never been thrown out of a restaurant.
in that pizza tasing - i actually said - that Posto is good. they shouldn’t be in this competition because the pizza is thin (cracker like)
@TheSavage13 Spunto too. i have actually never said that quote.
@RobdaHood yes. but not on purpose
i soooooooo love technology. and i soooooo love the power of people.
i sooooooo love technology. and i love people.
i love higgins
@hazelrabun so sad. sorry about that.
@DaveEsq Don’t mess with the Fallon Family
@DrRandPink @DomainMaximus i love momofuku
@FullofGiggles true that. it just shows… not a classy move. sorry for going off…
i actually hope that you choose to never go to Posto, Gruppo or Vezzo. that girl was laughing at us, telling us to leave.
dudes. no joke. i actually like that pizza!
@EnriqueH73 I just looked and they grabbed some quote off of New York online and thought i di not like the pizza.
@FullofGiggles don’t bother. this girl’s smiling face is stuck in my memory. (i actually like the pizza there!) fools!
@Lyssa_2009 true
I have never ever EVER reviewed Posto. Carb face Carol and owners Jonathan Tweedy and Antonio Gomez should be ashamed. not cool.
i am not (or ever will be) a food critic. this girl was laughing as we (my wife and I) were wheeling the kids out.
never go to Posto, Gruppo or Vezzo in New York City. i actually cannot believe how rude they were.
not anymore. please… if you like little babies and hate carb face carol…
i actually like posto.
crazy.
carb face carol rude to my 2 year old niece and an 11 month old (sleeping) because they heard i didnt like the pizza there.
Posto on 2nd (they also own Gruppo and Vezzo)
actually asked to leave a pizza place today
At any rate, it’s a nice departure from usual “twittering” before, during and after his jokes. We’ll stick to following FakeJimmyFallon.

What’s a carb face? Is that like a fat face?
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon is such a tool. His late night show is awful.
