5:20 pm: Hey, here’s a slightly racist animated video from Reforma, one of Mexico’s largest newspapers. It kind of says that Barack Obama is a hip hop, high-fiving idiot and that Mexico’s destiny with us is “black” and also we supply their gangsters with guns. Hoo boy.
5:00 pm: Mexican newspaper Reforma asks Mexicans to think of one word to describe Barack Obama. (Spoiler: Somebody says, “negro.”)
4:30 pm: Felipe Calderon’s wife Margarita Zavala shows off her arms. Michelle, who?!
3:00 President Obama, addressing the public with President Calderon, says he sees his first presidential visit to Mexico as an opportunity to launch a new era of cooperation and partnership between the two countries adding, “It’s difficult to overstate the depth of the ties between our two nations.”
2:20: Mexican President Felipe Calderon welcomes Barack Obama. No mariachis were visible, but they were singing “We Are The World.”
1:21 pm: Obama has landed on Track 5. Helicopters pick him up on the runway just to be sure. Sure he doesn’t get his head blown off by some wack job. Hundreds of people are camped outside the airport.
1:08 pm: Obama’s landing is 3o mins away. They’ve closed the Mexico City’s International Airport. Vacationers are peesed.

7:18 am: Barack Obama has departed Andrews Air Force Base aboard Boeing 747 aka “Air Force One” apparently you can’t call the bird by that name unless the president is on board.
