Machete: The Greatest Movie Trailer Ever, To Become Full Length Feature

Variety reports that Machete, one of the fake trailers from Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse, will begin shooting in June as a full-length feature for the big screen. If you’ve ever seen Grindhouse, you may recall the 1970’s Blacksploitation, (we suppose you’d call it Mexploitation?), style trailer starring Danny Trejo in the title role of Machete, a former Mexican Federale pretending to be a day laborer who gets hired to assassinate an anti-immigration senator, but is double-crossed and left for dead. As the announcer says, “If you’re gonna hire Machete to kill the bad guy, you better make damn sure the bad guy isn’t you.” We can only pray that Cheech Marin will be reprising his role as the gun-wielding priest gone bad. This is a Robert Rodriguez movie we actually plan to see. PS. The trailer is RATED X, NSFW boobies at 1:40. Thanks to tipster Alejand.

Danny Trejo is UGGGLLLY. He’s probably Cindy’s type, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Just sayin’.
Danny Trejo is the SH*&%$T He’s a great character actor and I’m so happy that he finally gets a full length film. I am not missing this movie. RR is a great film maker and I’m sure this movie will not disappoint. Can’t wait!!!
The trailer looks awsome, I just hope they don’t use C.G.I. and s##t like it was used in The Marine with John Cena.
I hope its more like the Die Hard or XXX movie, speaking of XXX when is the third one go’in be out.
